Why do Physicians feel so overwhelmed?
In our training to become physicians, we’re taught to work hard, not complain, or appear weak.
We also take the Hippocratic Oath which pledges to put our patients first and uphold the highest professional ethical standards. It’s no surprise that our medical education has conditioned us from the start to ignore our physical and emotional needs and has put us at a dramatically elevated risk for burnout.
Our broken healthcare system has led to alarming rates of physicians experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, and depression.
Daily tasks have become unsustainable due to overwhelming workloads.
The extensive medical documentation required for reimbursement and the increasing demands to meet hospital metrics for cost-cutting and patient satisfaction are just a few of the rising pressures that burden physicians.

My focus as a life coach is to help women physicians overcome burnout and bring more focus to their health and well being so that they can live life on their terms.
In 2015, I hit my ultimate burnout low. I felt desperate and hopeless. I searched for anything I could do to get out of medicine and get out of my misery.
Coaching helped me to find myself again. I learned new tools that helped me to see my life in a new light. It helped me to reorganize my life and take back my control. I’m now able to manage my time better and empty my In-Box and complete my charting before going home!
I no longer see myself as a victim with no way out. I have more quality time with my family and a renewed passion for medicine and patient care!
Knowing how prevalent burnout is and after seeing the amazing results I had achieved, a passion grew within me to help other struggling physicians overcome their burnout.
